Hi there! My name is Jessica Jimison. I am a junior at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and I'm studying Visual Communication Technology. This is a cross-media program with four main areas: Print, Photography, Video, and Interactive Media. I am fascinated by the capability graphic design has to impact the world, so naturally I have found my focus in Print. In my free time, I enjoy reading, exploring coffee shops, and serving in a non-profit Christian organization called Cru. I would love to gain more experience as a graphic designer, and I'm currently seeking CO-OP/internship opportunities.
Designing promotional graphics for print & for weekly meeting slideshows. Working alongside programming and social media team. Operating Keynote. Attending faith-based meetings and events.
Created logos and promotional content for two local weekly meetings. Designed printed pieces distributed amongst students’ financial supporters. Designed promotional materials for various Cru events and partnerships. Created slide templates and operated ProPresenter 6 for weekly meetings. Worked with a team of students in marketing, writing, graphic design, and filmmaking.
Ten week long mission trip with a Christian non-profit organization. Participated in leadership development, training, campus outreach, and mentorship. Attended weekly community and outreach meetings.
